WHAT WE ARE about
VISION
A picture we have in mind is that of a world where believers in the west can work together with their brothers and sisters in developing countries in spiritual matters but also in every day life issues.
What if Ottawa and Rwanda could mutually benefit each other in prayer but also in feeding the hungry?
MISSION
Together with other stakeholders we want to play a small part in improving quality of spiritual and physical lives in Rwanda.
- To relieve poverty by providing food, water and other basic necessities to persons of low
income or in need in Rwanda.
- To advance education by providing publicly available scholarships based on academic merit
and active participation in local church to secondary school students in Rwanda from low
income households or families in need.
- To advance religion by preaching and teaching the religious tenets, doctrines, and
observances associated with the Christian faith namely by developing and providing at no
cost, weekly religious programming, radio episodes on biblical teachings by purchasing
broadcasting time to radio stations in Rwanda and on the Internet application WhatsApp.

Our People
O2R is a volunteer-run charity. Our volunteers serve in various capacities. Some are members of the board of directors, others are donors, and others step-in to fill specific administrative and project management needs. At the heart of all this is the belief of the transformative love of Jesus demonstrated through the working out of the five principles above.
